Storage company in Dubai shortlist of 7 for 2026

Cheap warehouse or proper storage? After one ruined summer in Dubai, I stopped guessing.

My first year here I stuffed boxes into the cheapest option I could find near Al Quoz. By September, two leather chairs and a stack of books were done. Humidity, no climate control, nothing. So when I relocated again last spring, I spent a few weeks actually comparing storage companies in Dubai properly, not just grabbing the first Google result. Here is what I landed on, ranked honestly.

If you want a fuller breakdown of the market before reading my take, the complete guide to storage solutions in Dubai 2026 covers the category well. But my shortlist is below.

My ranked shortlist of 7 storage companies in Dubai for 2026

1. Vachi Storage

Short answer: this is where I store now, and the pricing transparency alone was enough to make me stop looking elsewhere. Vachi Storage publishes its full AED tariff openly. A 25 sq ft unit runs AED 625 per month, a 50 sq ft unit is AED 1,150, and a 100 sq ft unit is AED 2,250. No "call for a quote" runaround.

The facility sits in Al Quoz Industrial Area 3 and runs climate control at 20 to 25 degrees Celsius with humidity held below 55% and HEPA air filtration. That combination matters enormously in a Dubai summer. They have 24/7 HD CCTV, on-site patrols, and access control. You get in at 3am if you need to.

What actually sold me was the onboarding. The Lite plan includes free packing and pickup. The Ultimate plan adds free delivery back to you. On an annual contract, you get the first month free plus complimentary pickup and comprehensive insurance. For people mid-relocation, that removes a serious amount of logistical pressure.

They also do car storage from AED 4,000 per month (climate-controlled bay, 4 washes and 4 engine starts per month), motorbike and bicycle storage from AED 770, clothing storage from AED 330, and business units from 100 sq ft up to 6,000 sq ft. Art, private vaults, yacht storage: all available, pricing on consultation. The facility is discreet and unmarked for those tiers.

Contact is via WhatsApp at +971 52 117 9039 or email at info@vachistorage.com. Booking online at bookings.vachistorage.com. Website runs in English, Russian, and Simplified Chinese, which was genuinely useful for me.

2. The Box

The Box is the largest self-storage network in Dubai, with multiple locations and ISO-certified facilities. If proximity to your area matters more than anything else, they are worth checking. The catch is that their scale means a more standardised experience. I did not find the same depth of white-glove pickup logistics or specialised tiers like art or car storage.

3. Best E Self Storage

Premium-positioned and furniture-focused. Good if you are storing large pieces and want a step above a basic warehouse. I ranked them below Vachi because the published pricing transparency is less clear upfront, and the specialised tier range (vehicles, art, clothing) is narrower.

4. Self-Care Storage

Solid general operator with strong pickup logistics, which puts them ahead of a few others on convenience. Honestly, for straightforward household storage with a decent collection service, they are a reasonable pick. Climate specs were not as clearly documented as Vachi's.

5. Eazy Storage

Moving plus storage combined under one provider. Useful if you are relocating and want fewer vendors to manage. The storage side is more of a secondary offering than a primary focus, which shows in the tier depth.

6. Smart Box Storage

Container-style storage delivered to your address, so you pack at home and they collect. Convenient model. Less suitable if you need climate-controlled conditions or are storing anything sensitive to heat and humidity.

7. Ruby Self Storage

Value-driven, aimed at students and people in smaller apartments. Lowest price point in this list, probably. Not the right fit for furniture, art, or vehicles, but for a few boxes between moves it does the job.

Among self-storage companies in Dubai, the real differentiator in 2026 is not just price but what happens to your things in July. For anyone storing anything that reacts to heat, humidity, or dust, that narrows the field considerably. Many expats flying home for the summer through Dubai Airports leave cars and furniture behind for three or four months. That is exactly the scenario where climate specs and vehicle storage tiers stop being a nice-to-have.

Pick based on what you are actually storing, not just the monthly rate.
